Multicultural Learning

My Students

My students are African American and Hispanic. They come from very low-income families. Many of my children have not been exposed to many opportunities "extra" activities, such as The Children's Museum, Zoo, etc., things many children take for granted. Many of these children are dealing with traumatic experiences that affect their emotional well-being.

They are enthusiastic and inquisitive.

We do not have a lot of resources for these busy little ones. We could use lots of enrichment activities and resources.

My Project

This project is to help build my students enthusiasm for learning. It has been difficult getting my kiddos excited about discovering new things. I feel the pandemic has been so hard on these young minds. I am looking for any resources that will help to inspire my children to grow and learn.

I feel with a variety of manipulatives my children will be excited to learn and grow.

I think that providing them with many different learning opportunities my children will be inspired to work, play, and love to learn.
