My Students

My students are passionate, smart, and delight in the opportunity to express their creativity through music. They love to explore through play and music making. With your support I hope to get quality supplies for my deserving students!

Though my students may face challenges, these passionate kids never let any challenge stand in their way!

Making music encourages them to think outside the box and helps them develop their creative mindset. Whether these amazing kids become musicians, or doctors, or teachers, or entrepreneurs - the skills they learn in my classroom will help them in every path. Music makes a difference! Help support these incredible kids in North Carolina!

My Project

This project provides instruments from Asia, South America, and Africa to my amazing kids. These instruments allow my students to experience first-hand the power and delight of music from other cultures.

World instruments give my students a chance to experience sounds and music from around the globe.

Though we always listen to and explore world music, we currently have very few world instruments that allow the kids to experience that music up close. The few multicultural instruments that we do have are not made out of natural materials. This project provides my students with authentic world instruments made out of real leather and wood (not just plastic) and greatly increases our global instrument supply. Help support multicultural music for multicultural kids here in North Carolina!
