My Students
Our students are creative and caring leaders who come from different socioeconomic backgrounds and many of our students are bilingual. They are eager to learn and stay connected to their teachers and school community while distant learning. We want to celebrate each of our students unique qualities and strengths. We need multicultural crayons so our incoming kindergarten students have the colors they need to be able to draw themselves, their friends and their neighbors.
My Project
As an ELL teacher is a multicultural school with bilingual learners, it is important that our new kindergarten students have coloring crayons that represent them, their friends and people in their community.
My school celebrates diversity.
We want every one of students to know they matter and are valued everyday at school and home while distant learning. Kids should have the opportunity to color with beautiful, accurate skin-tone colors. Our school year is coming to an end this year, but with these crayons, incoming kindergarten students will be able to start their education with crayons that will impact how they see themselves as learners and essential members of our community.
