This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It's the start of a new school year, and everyone is eager to learn. We are a co-teaching classroom with students who learn in different ways. The requested materials would benefit all of the students, and they will use them all the time.

We do lots of drawing in Third Grade in conjunction with our lessons and having the multicultural crayons is very fun for the students.

They enjoy using them, and they are happy to have several choices of skin tones.

We think the students would like to create bulletin boards and decorate the classroom door, and maybe we could win the contest this year. Having this nice wooden background paper would be a nice upgrade. That would be a real treat!

Our students are very special to us, and we love integrating fun activities into their learning to make school fun. Having a variety of Post-It’s for the students to use at different centers during reading, writing, science and social studies would be very engaging for them. Some of our students would benefit from having the Post-It’s with lines, while others could use the flag Post-It’s to help them stay focused. Overall, our goal for the project is help our students and to make learning fun. That’s what school should be all about!
