My Project

I am teaching at a new school this year. One goal that I have is to have multicultural books in my classroom. Students need to see themselves in books so that their love for reading will be encouraged. My students are on fire for education and for learning but often get discouraged looking at books that do not reflect characters they can relate to. Giving my students this opportunity will ignite their love for learning even more. Students, all kids, deserve the opportunity to be invested in book with relatable characters and stories.
