My Students
My third graders are some of the sweetest in the world. I have a diverse group of amazing students and they work tremendously hard. They have big dreams and they take daily leaps, growing closer to those dreams. Every single day counts. Every single moment counts. They have a deep love for learning and that will benefit them and their own children for their entire life-times. They are tenacious, kind and fiercely loyal! They will be world-changers. No doubt about that!
My Project
Books are powerful. They allow us to escape into other people's worlds. Our kiddos have a growing love for literature. Through books, they can empathize with characters, feel deeply and learn lessons they wouldn't otherwise. They can learn about the dreams and struggles of others who are different from them, but I also hope that they can see characters like them, as well.
Our class is diverse and I'd love the characters in our books to be as well. I want your children to have books that they can see themselves in. Readers grow to be leaders. I am excited to share these new books with my class!
