Books are powerful. They allow us to escape into other people's worlds. Our kiddos have a growing love for literature. Through books, they can empathize with characters, feel deeply and learn lessons they wouldn't otherwise. They can learn about the dreams and struggles of others who are different from them, but I also hope that they can see characters like them, as well. Our class is diverse and I'd love the characters in our books to be as well. I want your children to have books that they can see themselves in. Readers grow to be leaders. I am excited to share these new books with my class!
