it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a first-year teacher, I've been incredibly fortunate to start my teaching journey with the most remarkable group of students. Their bright minds, boundless enthusiasm, and innate qualities of love, sharing, respect, and care have truly touched my heart. Every day, they inspire me with their resilience and positive spirit, even in the face of challenges.
I believe in creating an environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued is important.
That's why, I am dedicated to bringing more than just lessons to our classroom; I want to provide them with stories that reflect their diverse backgrounds and experiences. Mirrors and Windows! Stories that resonate with the richness of their identities.
These books will not only enhance our learning but also empower each student by acknowledging and cherishing the beautiful and diverse cultures woven into our community.
