Multi-Use Yoga Mats for Exercise and Exploration

My Students

Our students have had a tough year. We are beginning in person learning again and we, as teachers, want to give them something exciting, normal and consistent. They are excited to be back in school and they are excited to learn. But it will look differently. They have worked hard during the virtual learning time. They have been engaged and focused on their assignments and projects.

My Project

With required social distancing, physical education is limited. Students will not have access to regular equipment that would be considered high touch items.

We want to give our students a sense of normalcy during this time.

We will utilize these mats for outdoor yoga and meditation, outdoor lunch and snack breaks, science exploration and investigation time, and socially distanced social time.

We think this time is strange but an opportunity to think outside the box of education. Using more time outdoors will offer authentic learning, fresh air, and movement. Thank you!
