This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When readers struggle, reading intervention is needed. This training will support struggling students by providing me with the tools necessary to fully implement a multi-sensory approach to learning. It is supported by the science of reading and research based. It will help us build tiered support systems in our school to support all students to become readers. My students in Oakland deserve a multi-tiered support system that provides them with a multi-sensory education. Please help fund this project to support Oakland's children. Every child needs the opportunity to learn in a mode that will make them successful.
