My Students

I love helping my students develop their communication skills by providing them access to materials that facilitate communication with me and with each other. I use hands on materials to help make communication meaningful and fun both when we are in school and when we are remote.

The students in my school are in kindergarten-fifth grade.

They are a group of learners who benefit from a multi-sensory approach to learning. They are highly motivated to learn and benefit from opportunities to expand their communication skills in various ways.

My Project

My hope in purchasing the stress balls and the Pop It games is that students will have the opportunity to interact with multi-sensory materials during speech and language sessions to help them focus. With funding, the materials will give students the opportunity to interact with the materials and facilitate communication with me and their peers.

I love being able to foster speech and language development through the use of a variety of multi-sensory materials.

I would like my students to use these materials while they continue to learn at home and when they return to school.
