My Students
My student are a fabulous group of 3-5 year old students. They are learning their letters, numbers, beginning to read and so many more things. Many of our students come from poverty and current budget cuts affect the supplies needed.
My students are our future. They love to learn. They are proud of their accomplishments. I just want to give them every opportunity to have a great start in their academic careers. They can be anything they want with the proper education, instruction, and tools.
My Project
The puzzles in this project are for an early math skill that students at this age need. They learn to problem solve by moving pieces to for the puzzles. The canvases, paint, multicultural paper and multicultural crayons are used for several of our standards. We use these for math, social studies, art, science and literature. In my classroom, we use a multi-sensory approach to learning. We utilize paints to reinforce letters and numbers, fine motor skills, story telling, ect.
These materials will help in all academic areas through a multi-sensory approach to learning. They will provide the needed materials to do this in my classroom.
