My Project
Multi-sensory instruction engages the use of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic-tactile modalities in the components of learning.
When students are able to engage in more than one sense, they are more likely to enhance their memory and ability to learn. During multi-sensory lessons, students engage with the materials in more than one way. It helps convey information through things like touch and movement (sand writing, sound tapping, air writing).
Students who receive direct instruction in the resource room can benefit from multi-sensory lessons. This will help them in all subjects, math, reading, STEM.
