Help me give my students in special education get the resources they need to succeed! We need basic school supplies, in addition to creative playtime and academic products for daily use.
I teach at a public special education school for emotionally impaired students. My room is mostly 2nd/3rd grade, but my students range in age from 7-11, as some required repeating grades. I am in need of tools, like phonics games, so my kiddos who are currently performing below grade level can access content that matches their ability. That said, I also want to build an age appropriate library for the students who do perform at grade level and are begging for higher interest book series. Additionally, I would like basic supplies that would allow me to do more craft and science activities. I also am in need of supplies for daily activities, such as playing, coloring and using white boards for practice and also formative assessments. My students deserve the absolute best, but I simply don’t have the funds. Any support the greater community can provide is going to make a huge difference.
