Help me give my students laminating pouches, skin-tone crayons, colored pencils, and other supplies they need to make their brains grow and keep learning fun!
Being able to consistently access classroom supplies is essential for the growth and development of my students in more areas than one might think. Good colored pencils that can be easily accessed and sharpened will greatly help students get started right away on bringing color to their work. In addition, it is important for all my students to be able to create images that represent who they are. With the use of skin-colored crayons, my students will be able to represent themselves and the characters they read about in their pictures.
Finding fun and engaging hands-on activities to help students learn and reinforce concepts is important to my work in the classroom.
Laminating pouches are key components that allow me to make these color-printed activities last year after year. The kids absolutely love these activities, asking for me to find more.
Beyond the obvious academic needs of these supplies, teaching and fostering social-emotional skills, such as being an independent problem solver and learner, are key components in my classroom. Every day, students are working to build on their academic skills and social-emotional skills, which foster well-rounded development.
