My Project

As a 2nd grade teacher in a school that serves a high-needs community, I’ve created this donation list with a strong focus on snacks and social-emotional learning (SEL) materials. Many of my students come to school without consistent access to nutritious food, and having snacks available helps them stay focused and ready to learn throughout the day. SEL items like books, sensory tools, and calming aids are equally important, as they support students in managing emotions, building resilience, and creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment. I love each of my students and believe every one of them deserves a space where they feel supported and can grow, especially if they are unable to get that support at home.. Your support helps make that possible — both academically and emotionally.
