This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My 4th grade students are exceptional education students and English language learners in a Title I school located in a low income area. They work very hard in school despite the struggles surrounding them in life. The majority of my students come from single parent households in a very low income area. Despite the obstacles my students have, they are determined to overcome them, given the chance. Please give my students the opportunity to grow, learn, and build self-confidence with and from their peers.

My Project

These materials will help my ESE/ELL students to complete daily assignments and be the best possible students they can be!! Pencils will be used to complete assignments. Pens will be used for note taking as well as correcting papers when we correct as a class. My students need additional supplies to be successful and to help them be better prepared for school. Students who are prepared for school and not worried about their supplies are more likely to focus on more important things like getting good grades which in return improves their self esteem! I am trying to improve my students self esteem and prepare my students for the future taking away as many stresses as possible.
