This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These big brains do a lot of work and they need to be nourished throughout the day. Our school does a fantastic job providing breakfast and lunch for all.
I often hear, "Ms Wright Do you have snacks" after lunch time.
Lunch is their final meal which occurs at 11 am, but students are in school until almost 3 pm. I do my best to buy snack on my own or invite the parents that are able to provide snack as well. Unfortunately, we are still in need.
We know students do better when their tummies are full. One of our classroom moto's is "when you feel good you do good". Please help us continue to feel good!
My students and I would be very grateful if a donor could provide snack for our classroom. We need Veggie Straws, fruit snacks, Oreos and Rice Krispie Treats.
