Help me give my students phonemic awareness and storytelling skills during speech sessions. They will be excited and motivated to learn with these materials.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My speech students are working on segmenting and blending sounds in words to improve their decoding skills. For example, they will tap out their sounds and utilize these materials to learn phonemes in a high-interest and motivational way. They are always looking for a great book companion to help them retell stories. These materials would help make reading more fun! My students learn from a multi-sensory approach to speech therapy and would benefit from the visuals these materials offer. They would be so excited to try these new resources. Thank you very much!
