Ms. Sewell's Esl Small Group Learning

Help me give my students a more inclusive classroom with a new area rug, stools and classroom supplies that can help them learn how to read and understand the challenges that most diverse students had to endure in the past. My classroom strives on supporting individuality.

My Project

My students come from different parts of the world. We make sure to celebrate all different cultures throughout the school year. These bilingual scholars help build our community so I want to make sure that they receive the best education.

My charter school serves low income students and my class is filled with many different ethnicities The most effective way to teach kids is to teach them in small groups.

Teaching small groups, on a carpet, reading a cultural book or help them with their phonics skills is the most formal way to work with students.

Besides teaching students to read, these small group lessons can even help students work on a culminating activities using scissors, glue sticks, crayons and chart paper. It gives the students a real, interactive learning experience. These tools will help them reach their goals through out our school year!
