Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students have had such a rough year and I want to make these last two months of school very special for them. All students are learning from home and are being assisted by their families to encourage them to do their very best when they are completing their distance learning projects.
My Project
My distance learning project was created with the intention of ending this difficult school year right. First we suffered a flood in our original classroom. We powered through it as a class and were able to get back into the swing of things until the end of January when I, Ms. Parise, unfortunately, took a very hard fall and severely broke my left arm. As a result, I have been out on medical leave for the last three months and I miss my students so very much. I haven't seen them since January 24th! With these difficult times ahead, I want my students to remember how much fun our class is and how much I miss doing fun activities with them. I want to be able to print out worksheets for them and mail them to their homes so they have additional supplemental materials to work on as sometimes online learning is difficult for them.
