My Students

The students in my district have various levels of income, with most being low income. They require various spaces to learn and explore their world. The most enjoyable part of the day is sitting in group time exploring a new world through read aloud opportunities!

I strive to provide quality experiences for my students so they are able to explore their world.

This is so important for their little minds to gain knowledge. I believe the hands-on approach as well as child-centered learning are the best ways to assist my students in their learning.

My Project

Since my classroom is filled with children from different backgrounds, it is always a good idea to give them as much hands on experiences as possible.

With the Osmo it takes technology to the next level.

The children are able to have hands on experience and see how that effects the "game" they are playing while learning valuable skills. The great thing about this tech is that it can be used across different content areas!

Literacy is all about building words and learning to read! With the Osmo you can have the children be the author of their own story! They can build words and sentences too! In Math, they can learn to add and subtract numbers. They can learn how to put shapes together to make new shapes! In Social Studies, they can learn how money works and how to run their own pizza shop! The possibilities are endless!
