My Project

This is my first year working at a public school in Chicago. Before this, I lived and worked as a teacher in Brooklyn. I recently moved this past month to work in Chicago public school to be closer to my hometown of Decatur IL. Because of this, I am very limited in the supplies I am able to buy for my classroom and the resources that have been provided to me are slim to none. With your donations, I will be able to provide my students with an awesome math class this year!

Pencils for everyday use, anchor charts and paper for gallery walks and collaboration, and stickers to be used as incentives to help motivate and praise our learners!

We use Illustrative Mathematics curriculum which provides a ton of opportunities for students to collaborate and work with each other to learn about math. Students also need Kleenex and paper towels for when the weather gets cold and their noses start running. They also need erasers for when they want to edit their mistakes or make changes to their thought process
