Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to be able to provide my students with memorable science experiences and show them that we are able to create something impactful for not only their benefit, but for every student that comes after them.
Our first project will be to create miniature versions of a microscope to be able to view rocks in thin section!
Students will also be able to use the rock kits to make qualitative observations and collect data of their own.
My students are very resourceful and will be able to gain skills on designing models and communicating their scientific ideas!
