Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment in my classroom, your contributions can significantly impact our students' educational journey. Many students benefit from having fidgets to help them maintain focus and manage their energy levels. These simple tools can make a difference for students struggling with attention or sensory needs.
Comfortable seating is essential for creating a conducive learning environment.
My students have a comfy chair that is now broken and falling apart. They love sitting there, but it seems it won't last long.
In addition, a well-organized classroom fosters a sense of structure and efficiency, making it easier for students to focus and access learning materials. Donating organizers such as bins allow students to find and utilize resources, maximizing their learning potential easily.
Reading is a fundamental skill that lays the foundation for academic success. Your donations of reading tools will provide students with the essential resources they need to develop their literacy skills.
I also want to create a safe and welcoming environment for students. Many students come from homes that may be consistent with arguments, fights, and insufficient sleep. When entering the classroom, I hope students feel like they belong somewhere. By adding lamps, colorful lights, and relaxing spaces, students will want to attend and come to school more.
