Help me give my students bright, inspiring decor for their new speech therapy room and organization for the new materials that will be used next school year.
My goal for this project is to create a welcoming, inspiring new speech therapy room. I am moving into a bigger, more permanent space for my growing caseload that I would like to adorn with posters of speech and language and content targeted for speech therapy. I have purchased new materials I would like to organize based on the theme for easy use during therapy sessions.
My students have different goals and needs, requiring many different materials, often in one session for multiple students.
I like to make my therapy sessions fun and engaging by using different mini objects that the students enjoy but require more space. Visual prompts on the walls are a convenient way to remind them what they are working on and help them when needed. Who likes a boring white wall anyway? The decor will remind the students of our "Be Kind" motto with its inclusive design that we often see on our t-shirts around campus.
