My Project
I am a first-time teacher and first-time special educator. My students range on what their specific nares are and I want to give them all the tools they require for a comfortable and successful school year. I run the fourth through sixth grade specialized learning center at AES. My classroom is working from the ground up in supplies and these items in my cart were carefully thought out based on my students. I am completely starting with extremely limited supplies and want my students to thrive!
I am requesting Lakeshore centers to have a clear individualized center for every subject for my students.
They work best with tools that are clearly defined. I also want to teach my students how to use a Cricut. I want to give them life skills and also provide specialized items for them. Many of the sensory items, rug and classroom decor that are on my list are requested to help calm and refocus the students in my classroom to get back to learning.
