My Project
I am kindly asking for books for my classroom library and whiteboards for my AVID students. I've selected Speak as a novel that I want a class set for my ninth-grade English class. It was hard to obtain copies for all of my students last year, as we had to borrow a set from another school. I plan on teaching this novel each year, so a class set would be much appreciated. I've also included a few copies of the graphic novel, as well as the poetry book written by the same author. In addition to the books that will be used during class time, I have requested a series that several of my students have expressed interest in. This series would be available to students to borrow and read at their leisure. My AVID class also has need of whiteboards to use for tutorial presentations.
