Help me give my students pencils and materials for our new science standards, including awesome circuit kits with accessories and table top whiteboards.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school has AWESOME students and families. I want to provide my students with everything they need to succeed. The majority of our school population come from low-income, economically disadvantaged families. Many of them are English Language Learners.
My students and their families have a high regard for education.
School is the one constant, stable thing in many of my students' lives and genuinely enjoy the rigorous social and academic tasks given to them on a daily basis.
With your assistance, we can help these students become productive members in their community and help them become more mature learners.
My Project
Help my students be able to participate in hands-on science activities next year. With the new SEED standards, our grade level is looking to provide hands-on materials for students. This hands-on circuit kit and dough will allow students a fun new way to learn circuits.
Help my students by supplying table-top whiteboards.
With these whiteboards, students will be able to have a large whiteboard to complete math problems. In addition, these whiteboards are also magnetic. This means that students will be able to manipulate math tools on the whiteboards.
Lastly, I would like to supply my classroom with extra pencils. These pencils will last through the remainder of the year and into next year.
