My Students

I am a new and aspiring teacher, trying to share my love for science with every students I come across in the upcoming years. I will be teaching at a relatively small school in East New York servicing the middle school population. According to my research on the neighborhood I will be serving I have come across that our students are from low income homes. I really want to start them off with everything they need to make sure they excel in their studies.

My Project

Students learn best when they are equipped with all the necessary materials they need. With the supplies requested I can help my students complete all their required assignments and gain self independence within their classroom space. Students will also feel at home with the personalize spaces that will be created with the laminator and label maker. The paper, staplers, markers, and other supplies of the sort will be used by the students. I also plan to used the punch cards as a reward for the students that I will be servicing. The timer will be used so that my students know how much work time they have left, as it is not good practice to cut off students without warning. The chart paper will be used to create anchor charts that reflect the discussions we have during our mini-lessons.
