Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have 30 ELD students that are very motivated to learn and pass the ELPAC exam that is required by the state for them to reclassify. They are working hard to learn the English language and become proficient in all the areas necessary to be proficient on English (e.g. speaking, writing, and reading).
Funding this project would help the students be able to access the programs they currently are using to the fullest extent.
Aside from textbooks and workbooks, they currently have access to programs such as ixl and Rosetta Stone to help them practice and continue to acquire the English language. Unfortunately, when there's 25+ students trying to practice at the same time, it makes it difficult for them to be able to hear and respond to the programs. Thus, the need for earphones with microphones. We appreciate all donations. Thank you!
