My Project

As a second-year teacher, I am working on building my class library to make sure I have what I need to make my students successful.

First grade is a vital year for students to begin reading, so having the necessary materials to help students apply those new skills is my priority.

These books will be in the hands of students during center rotations, small groups, and intervention lessons to help students practice skills hands-on.

I not only want students to be able to practice and apply phonics skills, I want to foster a love for and desire to read!
