Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The school has about 40% ESOL students and almost all low-income students. My 5th-grade class needs to be prepared for middle school as best as possible. I will provide rigorous content to work with every student meeting them where they are and pushing them to do better. I plan to build confidence in literacy and social studies. I ask for help to make the classroom welcoming, organized, and clean. I plan to have fun materials to increase engagement and for my kids to have a smile knowing they learned something that day.
