it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Engaging with students who echo the background I hail from in Nevada is truly meaningful. Being a fellow native of the Silver State amplifies my dedication to nurturing a tight-knit community among my students. I'm excited about our joint efforts to maintain an optimal learning setting, acknowledging the significance of resources like sustenance, creative materials, and social-emotional learning tools. Through our collaborative endeavors, we'll weave a stronger tapestry of comprehension and regard within our academic realm, enriching our collective journey and guaranteeing that every student feels esteemed and bolstered throughout their educational path. The resources requested—such as a printer, mini fridge, various classroom supplies, and crafting materials—will significantly aid in fostering an environment conducive to learning, creativity, and a sense of belonging for all students in lessons like argumentative jeopardy, essay writing dashes, and teach-ins (where the students get to play teacher about a particular topic we learn about).
