My Students
My students are... me! My sixth grade students are near and dear to my heart; they are miniature images and reflections of my former self, and I can't imagine not looking at every option to get my students what they need. As a project of Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS), I have now come back to teach and inspire in a county that gave me an amazing education and opportunities.
With over 80% of students on free or reduced lunch, our students excel both in and outside of the classroom, regardless of the labels that have been placed on them by society.
They are bright, outgoing, inquisitive, strong, and brave, and have a passion for learning in all areas of life.
This project serves to help restore necessary classroom items that I will need for the upcoming school year in order to enhance their learning and diversity my lessons for my students. Oxon Hill Middle School has recently become apart of the 1:1 technology program in PGCPS, so there are several things I will need to help modify my lesson and meeting my students in the digital age.

My Project
This list includes basic classroom needs for both hands-on student use and student/classroom organization. Items range for basic materials such as glue and scissors, all the way up to organizing bins and storage.
These supplies will help our students be classroom ready and have the ability to do fun and creative projects, stay organized, and ultimately enhance their learning!
It is my hope to have these supplies to my students within the first month of school; ANY donation helps, and please feel free to spread the words. I am grateful for making next school a great one with your support! My students thank you and so do I!
