Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students live in a high-poverty community where the entire school receives free breakfast and lunch. They are respectful, very motivated, and come to school ready to learn. Most of my students are English language learners who work hard because they know their lives will improve through education and resilience.
These items we are requesting are essential things that will be used daily to help with their learning.
The voice amplifier will be used to give students the ability to hear the directions, lessons, and lectures given by the teacher. The charts and Sharpies will be used to organize and track work completed by the students. The pencils and rulers will be used as writing and drawing tools. The headphones will be used by the students, so all students will have access to hear the audio on their computers.
