My Project

I am a special education teacher and I teach a diverse group of students with a variety of learning needs. My job as their teacher is to not only strengthen their academic skills but to strengthen their self-regulation skills and social emotional learning. In order for my students to feel successful throughout the school day they benefit from movement breaks and calm spaces within the classroom.

I want to create a space for them that encourages both their academic needs and social emotional needs.

The liquid sensory tiles and sensory walkway give my students a safe space within the classroom to take movement breaks throughout the day. The breathing posters and exercises will help teach my students how to manage their emotions and feelings through the school day.

School can be overwhelming for many students. These items can help me create a calm and supportive environment to meet the needs of all my amazing learners!
