Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Starting a new classroom is a hard job, especially regarding budgeting. Prioritizing spaces for students to sit down and feel comfortable aside from the marble floor will give my students a sense of coziness and warmth.
Including these carpets in the classroom will brighten the classroom and encourage students to read or play board games with their peers on a cozy rug.
Aside from just sitting, students can use board games to give themselves brain breaks while engaging in fun and educational problem-solving games. My students would greatly benefit from any support and items (storage, bins, light covers and pocket folders) as they will all impact my whole class.
