This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom, I believe that every student deserves a learning environment that fosters safety, comfort, and growth. By integrating flexible seating options, I aim to give my students the autonomy to choose where and how they learn best, which promotes engagement and accommodates diverse learning styles. Additionally, using hands-on math manipulatives allows my students to explore complex mathematical concepts through tactile experiences, enhancing their understanding and retention. Moreover, incorporating mental health awareness into our curriculum ensures that my students are supported not only academically but also emotionally. These resources collectively create a holistic, supportive environment that encourages my students to thrive both academically and personally.
