This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am trying to get a class set of boom whackers for my school. Providing boom whackers to my students will allow them to participate in team building activities, learn different musical concepts, relax from learning all day and have fun. Boom whackers are a way to teach harmonics, accuracy in rhythm and highs and lows for my students. This would affect more than 600 students from kindergarten to my eighth graders this year! I am a first year music teacher in the MPS school district with large class sizes. Any contributions would help me out greatly. Thank you very much for those who have donated any amount.
