Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are fun loving children who are eager to learn, and love coming to my classroom any chance they get. These kids are eager to read their books and to work on given assignments. They work hard to learn and grow in my classroom so they can advance to the next grade, which is something I love. However, without the necessary supplies I find it difficult to reinforce the teachings and ideas that the students are excited to learn.
My Project
Ms. Agundiz’s Art Creations are the items that will be constantly required within the classroom to be creative in the classroom. Colored Pencils, Sharpener and Markers allow the children to write or highlight key terms or ideas on handouts and other assignments. Construction Paper and Colored Paper are an important part of collaborative assignments or small group work – when the children aid in teaching each other. All of these items are essential to my classroom and teaching method, yet the supplies may easily exhaust by mid-year. Please consider aiding my pursuit of nurturing the minds of these wonderful children. Any assistance given will be greatly appreciated by not only myself, but my students as well.
