This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a 1st year teacher, I am starting from scratch. I plan to use the materials in a variety of ways. I want to use books like "Belladonna" to create a culturally diverse and all-inclusive to my students. I also want to keep an organized environment for my students.

I want to create a safe and welcoming environment for all of my students as well as my future students.

I can do this with the help of pencils and paper so students know they have access to anything they need to succeed in my class and beyond. In helping them strive for success I want to reward my students with a treasure chest that will be filled with the fidget toys to help motivate my students. Not only will having that incentive will motivate students but once they have the fidget toys they will not be distracted as they will help keep the students focused.
