My Students

My students are very special, bright young boys and girls. We work hard on our projects and it is very difficult because out class only has two very old desktop computers that are very slow and often times do not work. It would be extremely beneficial if my students had access to laptops or chrome books to do research reports and to increase their typing skills.

Currently we are working on a research project and we have had to create a schedule for computer use so that all students will have time to work on their research.

This equates to students having 10 minutes every three days to do research for their report. Factor in how long it takes to load the webpage, students end of very frustrated and it takes us forever to finish a research project.

My Project

Our classroom enjoys doing interactive projects such as research projects. We are working on a project about colonies, states, and presidents. Currently we have two old desktop computers that are very slow. We are asking for Chromebooks to help us in our class projects.

Chromebooks will allow us to do research in a faster manner than the old desktops, as well as the ability of more than two students at a time being able to use the computers.

We really want to learn about technology, create presentations, and be able to do our research projects with the Chromebooks.
