Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students only have access to our school library. Our local library is too far away for them to walk to. Many of my students are below grade level due to not having access to books at home during the lockdown. Their families also are impacted financially and aren't able to purchase books to help ensure their child has access to grade level texts. These materials will improve their reading by allowing them to take books home and read every night at home! Please help me give them access to the most recent and popular books so they can become better readers!
