My students need new math Bingo games, warm-ups and a folder game library to help reinforce mathematic concepts. They also need books to incorporate literature cross-curricular.

My Students

Help us succeed! My students are very active and love to manipulate and play new games. These new games will open up so many opportunities for them to grow and learn new and challenging concepts.

I have 30 seven and eight year olds in my classroom.

They are very active, talkative and hard-working. We live in Arizona and go to school where about 75 percent of my class is on free or reduced lunch. They have wonderful imaginations and can create anything they desire out of nothing. These students deserve everything they want and need to be successful in life.

My Project

I have requested 2nd grade math file folder games. For example, the operations game will focus on addition and subtraction strategies which is a target standard for 2nd grade. I have also requested a collection of math read alouds to introduce new topics. These new resources will enable my students to be more hands on and engaged in their own learning. They love to be active and talk to each other and these resources will create an environment where that is okay. They learn so much through play and manipulation.

Your donation will help students that may not get the chance to see how much fun learning math can be.

These games will show them that math is all around us and used in everyday life. It will spark interest in them and an eagerness to learn new things. You will be inspiring my students to be life long learners and the love of learning new things.
