I teach students with Autism that are transitioning to high school. They are excited, eager, curious, and anxious all in one!
Most of my students are performing on a 2nd-3rd grade level for reading and math.
They require one-on-one assistance, current and relevant materials, and a safe learning environment.
My students come from loving and supportive families; however they are mostly low income families. They could really use your help with being successful, productive, citizens of our world.
My Project
The fidget kick bounce bands will help my students with their fidgeting and need to get out some energy while still working hard.
My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to keep them engaged.
Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. The iPads will help my students connect with me on my Smartboard to use technology-based lessons. There are also many apps that will help them improve their reading and math skills.
I buy hundreds of pencils every school year, so having a pencil sharpener is a necessity and a classroom job for my students.
The pencil grips will help my students that struggle with holding their pencils correctly.
