This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The main item I am requesting is a telephone that will allow students to record things they want to share with me. The sad and honest truth is that our classroom day is busy. I don't always have the time to hear what goes on at home, or the problems that go on during recess or after school, but that doesn't mean I don't care or want to know about what goes on. I hope this recording phone will allow my students to share their concerns with me so that I can better help them both inside and outside the classroom.

Many of the other items I have added will be used in my classroom for years to come including ziplock bags, paper plates, magic erasers, snack cups, additional STEM bin toys, headphones, and privacy folders.

I have had the opportunity to work with Donors Choose multiple times, and I have always been extremely grateful. I am excited for this project to be fulfilled as it reaches multiple areas in my classroom.
