Mrs. Hamm's Wildcat 4th Graders Need Access to Technology
Help me give my students a chrome book to be successful this year! They are working so hard to overcome the last two years of their education and they need all the support they can get.

My Students
Our students are diverse and motivated learners! They focus on setting high goals and working everyday to make sure they are achieving those goals. As their educators, we are striving to provide them with every resource they need to reach their potential.
My Project
Each year our students are required to participate in state mandatory testing (including SBAC). All students are required to type their responses, however due to lack of technology (especially those with traditional keyboards) in both their homes and classrooms, many students have not had the necessary exposure to allow them to demonstrate their proficiency of testable subjects. These new Chromebooks will give my students lots of practice on a keyboard.
Additionally, I am seeking resources that will aid in supplementing instruction and remediating academic gaps caused by two years of COVID-19 affected education.
Individualized and differentiated instruction is easy provided and managed with additional chrome books available in the classroom!
In addition, our Writing Standards require students to be able to use computers.
W.4.6 - With some guidance and support from adults, use technology, including the Internet, to produce and publish writing as well as to interact and collaborate with others; demonstrate sufficient command of keyboarding skills to type a minimum of one page in a single sitting.
They need access to these devices in order to be able to master these standards!
