My Students

My students are amazing! Most of them come from homes that may be unstable, constantly moving, or other issues, but that does not stop their love for learning! Despite being virtual and having a tough year and a half, they never cease to amaze me with how much information they remember and their hunger to learn new things. I love teaching them a new trick or skill and seeing that "ah-ha" reaction on their face. They always come in smiling, give me compliments throughout the day and are so open with what they tell me.

I want to make sure I have all the tools to help set them up for success and love for education and school.

I'd love to add some flexible seating carts for each set of desks to store supplies and anything to help them feel safe and comforted while set up for learning.

My Project

With the pandemic, these supplies will help with each student having their own materials. The games will allow for learning fun during small groups. The classroom will be well organized and welcoming to help optimize each student's learning with the new shelves, posters and writing materials. The wipes, tissues and paper towels will also help in keeping the classroom as clean and as germ free as possible.

I want each student to come to school and know they have many resources at their hands.

I want learning to be fun and I want each child to have many learning techniques available for many different learners and abilities. The goal is for my students to use these resources as a way to enhance their math, reading and writing skills.
