This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students don't have much experience with science and experiments. So, if I have the ability to share materials with them it will help allow them to explore and develop their science knowledge. This can be achieved by allowing them to explore how a roller coaster works with the kit. I'm asking for the tri boards so my students can compete in the science fair put on by our school. The composition notebooks will allow my students to take notes about their projects and other science concepts we will learn about. We will explore energy using the batteries and wires. Since science is such a hands-on subject, I would love to be able to give my students any and all materials they will need to fully immerse themselves in the experiments and projects. Many of my students have mentioned that they love science, and I would enjoy nothing more than to continue growing their love for the subject! Thank you!
